Training modules

In this project, a part of the activities is aimed at working out innovative approaches to training on the topics of transnational trade union action and trade union action in EWCs.

The premise is implementing training and education for adults; a non-mnemonic and more attitude-based form of education aimed at building knowledge starting from a common experience background and from the implementation of practices by means of activities that place the participants, not the teacher, in the centre. It is a foundational spirit with which to stimulate a strongly creative environment of exchange and confrontation oriented towards problem solving.

Based on the collective experience accumulated by the partners, the project particularly concentrates on the issue of communication, or rather, on the capacity of making the importance of trade union activity in multinational companies known to the public. The goal is to strengthen the coordination and cooperation by means of a higher and more effective ability to communicate within the network. In practice, it is about learning to operate in networks that include the national and local levels together with the transnational level.

The project includes the creation of a national module for each one of the partner organizations and an international module aspiring to offer support to trade union activists in multinational companies and to develop better strategic planning skills as well as skills in taking initiative for transnational trade union action.
