The tools of Dedalus and Arianna

In this section, we will present and offer the action tools developed throughout the Dedalus and Arianna project. In particular, we here refer to the part concerning effective communication and training modules.

Both these issues have been approached from a point of view placing the trade union activist in the centre. When we refer to communication, in fact, we never mean something one-directional, but rather a process of sharing, exchange and participation among all links of the trade union network. Something similar can be said of the training, which is conceived to be dynamic, oriented towards problem-solving and towards participative learning. In practice, a learning process focused on the exchange between participants and on direct experience, more than on the frontal transmission of information.

By clicking on the buttons below you can get more details about the single tools used in communication and training and download the methodologies and materials developed during the project. All tools tested throughout the Dedalus and Arianna project were in fact conceived with the aim of being made available to further initiatives promoted by the partners in the trade union network. The idea of publishing the methodologies and materials, therefore, comes not only from the need to tell our experience, but above all from the will to make our working process available for future re-elaborations and to stimulate a debate and actions on these issues.

What characterizes the spirit of a project like Dedalus and Arianna, in fact, is being able to contribute to the collective knowledge and to effectively contribute to improving industrial relationships on a national and transnational scale.
